A live map of the Evidence Vault.

Each node above is a research domain in the Vault – molecular biology, polyvagal theory, epigenetics, chronobiology, contemplative neuroscience, and fifty-five others. The connections between nodes are shared mechanisms: places where two or more domains converge on the same biological process from different directions.

The map clusters into three regions. That is not imposed. It is what the research produces when you organise it by mechanism rather than by discipline. The three regions correspond to three phases of biological change: Activate, Metabolise, Transform.

The brighter nodes are hubs – domains with more connections, where multiple fields converge. The polyvagal substrate, epigenetics, and the autonomic system are examples. They appear brighter because more lines of evidence run through them.

A

Phase A – Activate

Seven environmental teachers. Floor, cold, heat, dark, sun, silence, hunger. The domains in this cluster share one mechanism: they contact the nervous system below its defences. Physics before philosophy.

U

Phase U – Metabolise

Four metabolic teachers. Breath, sound, digestion, shaking. The domains here are concerned with autonomic regulation – the restoration of the parasympathetic state that allows what activation opened to be processed and discharged.

M

Phase M – Transform

Four devotional teachers. Witness, mother, icon, repetition. The domains here address the relational template – the internal working model laid down in early attachment that determines whether any change lasts.

The map grows as the Vault grows.

The Evidence Vault contains the full detail behind each domain – the studies, confidence ratings, citations, and mechanisms. The map above is the structure. The Vault is the content.
